HEAD

Visual identity of the Geneva School of Art and Design. The institution was created in 2006 through the amalgamation of the Fine Arts school and the Applied Arts school. The teaching provided at Head–Genève promotes a close dialogue between lecturers’ and students’, where students are considered as the prime architects of their creative path. The graphic and typographic system highlight this dialogue.

Aeby Perneger & Associés is an architecture firm based in Geneva. For its visual identity structure a specific and rigorous grid system was developed. Then the system was applied to all communcation modes.

LiveInYourHead 2009

LiveInYourHead is the Curatorial Institute of the Geneva School of Art and Design. These invitation cards were designed for the 2009/2010 program. The naming of this new space pays homage to the exhibition organized at the Kunstalle, in Bern, in 1969 by the well-known Swiss curator Harald Szeemann. The subtitle of the exhibition is Live in your head. When Attitudes Become Form.
